Undressed

I shed you
Snakeskin
Your dark caress
A silken gown
Hugging my curves
Spilling down the length of my thighs
Tender flesh, ripe for the searing
God knows how many times I’ve been here
Naked before you
Crawling
Hands and knees - raw and bleeding
Indecision
Fear
Lust
Greed
Agony and
Pleasure
The light of morning breaks against my skin
Bruised and cut from battle
I turn to leave; naked and fierce with just my soul
And your last cigarette
